Ok, I made the appropriate edit to the DSRB, so you can find it in the errata going into the next printing. It now says that you SUBTRACT Hardness, rather than DIVIDE BY it.

I have been seriously thinking about this actually. First off you seem to be misunderstanding the divisor system for damaging vehicle subsystems. Or better yet, you can "Summon Monster" by using those nanites to make a PseudoCreature robot, then use a dose each for the computer and power core. The down-side to this is that you need the programs to run it on-hand, with a radio communicator to load them into the robot as it is made.
